The New Google's "Email via Google+" Feature Made It Easy for Strangers to Email You ( So How to Disable This ! )
Google recently published on their blog
that they have introduced a new feature in Gmail that allows anyone
with a Google Plus profile to Email you directly via the Google Plus
connection.
Normally when you type in an Email in your Gmail Compose window it suggests you Google Plus profiles of those in your circles. But now it will also suggest anyone matching the name you type into the field.
The feature has been made an opt-out one but it will be enabled by default on all the Google accounts that use Google Plus.
The Email you receive from some stranger who used this feature will not end up in your Primary Inbox Tab (if you are using the Gmail Tabs) but in your Social Tab. This will prevent your Inbox from getting cluttered.
Also when someone sends you an Email via this, Your actual email address won’t be revealed to them unless you reply to their Email.
This feature has added a new option in your Gmail General Setting that allows you to completely opt out of this feature or limit the reach of your profile.
Here I will show you how to how to turn off the Email via Google+ feature in Gmail.

Virus! My files turned into shortcuts (Solved)
Step One
Windows has the bad habit of hiding certain files and their extensions. This may be useful to avoid confusing novice users, but presents serious drawbacks. You may, for example, run a dangerous program like “photo.jpg.exe”because Windows only shows the “photo.jpg” portion. For that reason, and also to help fighting t...his memory stick infection, you need to make all files visible. The following steps apply for Windows XP, Vista and 7.
Click on Start
Click on Control Panel
Pick Folder Options
>Click on “View” tab
Clear the following check boxes:
Clear the check box “Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)”
Clear the check box “Hide extensions for known file types”
Click Accept to apply the changes
Step Two
We need to make sure that your computer is clean from the infection. If a healthy USB stick gets corrupted after being used on your computer, that a sign that the virus is running on your system and your antivirus is not doing it’s job. Use the update function your Antivirus. If the antivirus still fails to catch the infection even after the update, you definitely need to use another product.

Some users are reporting that no matter what they did, the virus kept running. Reader Grafik Krime has contributed with the following instructions:
For those still having issues and it and cannot stop it:
Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del) and End Process for any WSCRIPT.EXE that is currently running. (This will stop the running virus, the next steps are for preventing it from running again next time you start your computer)
Click on Start
Type REGEDIT and Tap Enter
Click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Click on Software\
Click on Microsoft\
Click on Windows\
Click on CurrentVersion\
Click on Run.
On the list on the right find any reference to a file that ends with .vbs and take note of were that .vbs file is located
Go to the said location and delete the .vbs file
Go back to Regedit and delete the key referencing thtat said .vbs file

Some users are reporting that their current Antivirus brand was unable to detect and eliminate the infection. I like the products from Avira, Kaspersky and Dr.WEB. The first one offers a Free version, the others offer 30 day trials.
But please STOP: Before start uninstalling and installing things, follow this whole guide in order to test if your current Antivirus get rid of the infection.
Also to avoid incompatibilities and system problems Do NOT install more than one (1) antivirus program on a single computer.

If everything went fine at this step you should be able to see “new” files in your USB drive. The formerly hidden files probably are your missing files and folders. The shortcuts on the other hand were created by the infection and are not related with your files.
Proceed to delete the shortcuts, the Autorun.inf, any .vbs file and everything you don’t recognize as yours. Needless to say, be careful, do not delete your legit file
Step Four
To permanently change the properties of your files back to normal we need to open the Command Prompt.On Windows Vista and 7:
Click on Start
Type cmd in the first box you see
Press ENTER
On Windows XP:
Click on Start
Click on Run
Type cmd
Press ENTER
Step Five
On the black Window that appears -technically called the Command prompt- write the commands shown on the picture. Don’t forget to replace the letter X with the letter of your infected drive.
For example, if your affected drive letter is F then the command should be attrib -h -r -s /s /d F:\*.*
After writing the command hit enter and wait a few seconds while the changes are made.
Done!
Go back to the file explorer and see if the file attributes are back to normal.

Lock Unlock Pc Using USB Without Any Software
Now it is possible to lock or unlock your pc with just a pen drive to do this you just need to follow these steps.
1) Insert your device
2) Start cmd and type diskmgmt and hit enter
3) Right click on your device and select "CHANGE DRIVE LETTER" and rename it with a

5) Click update and choose "STONE STAR...TUP KEY ON FLOPPY DISK" and click ok
That's it you have just secured your pc. To test this just restart your system.

Import multiple vcard contacts to gmail
To do this first of all you need to concatenate all the VCFs in to a single file...
If you're using windows:
# open command prompt
# change to the directory where all your VCFs are stored
eg : d:
cd my_vcfs
# Run this command
copy /B *.vcf contacts.vcf
Then just upload the "contacts.vcf" file to google and it will grab all your contacts in one go.

The following steps involve installing a virtual machine on your PC, updating the virtual machine to 10.7 , then running the machine and downloading and installing the iOS SDK and Xcode on to the virtual machine.
There are other ways to install OS X on your machine but they involve creating a new partition and installing the Operating System directly to your hard drive. Those ways are much harder and have more confusing steps that could potentially damage your computer. This method is easier and safer to use.
The process will take 2-3 hours, but most of the time is consumed by large downloads. There's no software to buy or developer fees to pay.
PROCEDURE
1. Follow the steps here to download and install a virtualized version of OS X Lion on your PC.
2. If you don't have a free Apple Dev Account, create one here . You'll need this to be able to download Xcode 4.1 for free. In OS X, open the App Store and download Xcode. You can view progress of the download under the Purchases tab.
3. Once the progress bar is finished, it will say it is installed but it really isn't. Open the Applications folder from Finder. Double-click on the Install Xcode icon
4. Follow the on-screen directions then wait for the installation to finish.
5. Once it's done, it should open by itself. If it doesn't, you will NOT find the iPhone SDK in your dock. You will need to open your hard drive. Then Click on Developer, then on Applications.
7. You will now see an icon for Xcode, click it and you can start coding applications.
Requirements
A laptop or desktop computer that supports virtualization (most newer computers do).
VMWare Workstation (this is a paid program but a little research will get you it for free).

2. Once done, a folder named Mac OS X Lion VMware Files will appear, double click it.
3. You will need to follow the instructions in this video to unlock VMWare. Instead of using the files from the video, use the files from Step 2.
5. On the left column, click on Edit Virtual Machine Settings. In the Memory tab, you can edit how much RAM OS X will get. In the Sound tab, change to Specify host sound card, change it to your sound card. After the machine has started and sound doesn't work, change to Use default host sound card.
6. At the bottom of the box is an Add button, click it. Select Hard Disk from the left, click Next. Choose Use and existing virtual disk.
7. Browse for the Mac OS X Lion Installer.vmdk that was downloaded from the torrent. ClickFinish. Click OK to close the box.
8. On the left column, click Power on this virtual machine.
9. If a box asks to repair the image, click Repair. Once the box comes up, click I copied it, clickOK. A message about the CD Drive may come up, just click OK.
10. The machine should power up in a few moments, ready to go. For ease of use, click in VMWare Workstation, click File > Add to Favorites.
11. You should now have a Install Mac OS X screen. At the top, click Utilities then Disk Utility. Select the 42.45 GB Hard Disk. Click on the Erase tab. Now you can name your hard drive what you want. Then click on Erase. Click Erase again.
12. Once the process is done, close out of the Disk Utility box, the Install screen will come back up. Click Continue, Agree. Select the 40GB Hard Disk to install Lion. Click Install. The process will take about 30 minutes. Once it's done, the account setup will start. Once that's done, Lion will start.
13. To be able to use the machine in full screen, in OS X open Preferences, click on Displays. Now select the resolution of your monitor. Now in VMWare, click on the Full Screen button on the toolbar (10th button from the left).
14. Now you're done, you can use this OS as a normal to install programs.
A laptop or desktop computer that supports virtualization (most newer computers do).
At least 1 GB of RAM (the more, the better).
VMWare Workstation (this is a paid program but a little research will get you it for free).
VMWare Hard Drive (vmx files, it is in a self-extracting .exe file)

Instructions
Before you start, make sure that you have enabled Virtualization in the BIOS of your computer. This is usually disabled by default by computer manufacturers.

1. From the file downloaded, double click on Mac OS X Lion VMware Files.exe. Click Run thenYes. This will decompress the files.
2. Once done, a folder named Mac OS X Lion VMware Files will appear, double click it.
3. You will need to follow the instructions in this video to unlock VMWare. Instead of using the files from the video, use the files from Step 2.
4. From Step 1, you should have also gotten a folder named Mac OS X Lion. Open that up and open the file named Mac OS X Lion.vmx. Double-click this file. It will open in VMWare Workstation.
5. On the left column, click on Edit Virtual Machine Settings. In the Memory tab, you can edit how much RAM OS X will get. In the Sound tab, change to Specify host sound card, change it to your sound card. After the machine has started and sound doesn't work, change to Use default host sound card.
6. At the bottom of the box is an Add button, click it. Select Hard Disk from the left, click Next. Choose Use and existing virtual disk.
7. Browse for the Mac OS X Lion Installer.vmdk that was downloaded from the torrent. ClickFinish. Click OK to close the box.
8. On the left column, click Power on this virtual machine.
